Sean is a strategic and mission driven executive with extensive experience in devising strategies to optimize both operations and teams’ performance, assuring the realization of long-term business and community goals. He is excited about expanding the reach of the organization and has the goal of making the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster a county wide organization. In his spare time, he enjoys making memories with his better half Ashli and their 3 kids- Ty, Cru, and Rae.Debbie Leazer, Development Director, has a background in fundraising, alumni relations, event planning and donor recognition and stewardship. After 23 years in Institutional Advancement at McDaniel College, Debbie decided to establish a consulting business that assisted MedStar Washington Hospital and The Historical Society of Carroll County. When approached by the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster to assist with their Campaign fundraising efforts to build a new Club and Gymnasium that would serve 600 children in our community, she jumped at the opportunity. Debbie is excited to share her experience in fundraising, event planning and friend-raising to establish relationships in the Community that will build volunteer and gift support for the Club.Jim Rodriguez, Operations Director, has an extensive background in education. He worked in Carroll County Public Schools for 31 years prior to coming to BGCW. He served in various capacities in the school system - 10 years as a Physical Education teacher and coach, 5 years as a school-based administrator and 16 years as a central office supervisor in the fields of Athletics, Physical Education and Health. He has a master’s degree in Education with a specialization in working with at-risk students. He is excited to use his experience to assist the great work BGCW is doing with our members and the community.Erin Bishop, Marketing Director, has a background working in the sales, marketing, and human resources field. She served for 3 years as Chairman of the Community Advisory Council of Carroll County where she acted as a liaison between the Board of Education and the community to educate and inform citizens on issues critical to education within the Carroll County Public Schools System. Erin is excited to share her experience with the Boys & Girls Club by encouraging others to learn more about the Club and the wonderful opportunities it provides for kids in the Westminster community.Emmanuel Harvey, Teen and Sport Director, has a background in Teacher Education and Sports/Recreation Management. Emmanuel was first introduced to the club as a work-study mentor while enrolled in Carroll Community Colleges education program. Prior to returning to the organization he worked for 3 years at a Charter School in West Baltimore where he taught physical education and health while also coaching the basketball and volleyball teams. He has a passion for sports and loves how they can be used as a universal language to bring people together. Even more so he has a passion for serving and impacting the youth in our community in any positive way possible.Lindsay Chiavacci, Program Director, has a background in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy. She is a recent college graduate with interests in critical thinking skills and human behavior. She spends her free time taking her dog on hikes and enjoying the outdoors! Her friendly and casual personality allows her to connect with the members and build relationships on a personal level. She loves helping members work through problems both in and out of an academic setting. Her position with the Boys & Girls Club allows her to act as a mentor to the members and she hopes to help build a community of thoughtful and dynamic youth. She is excited to grow with the members and immerse herself in a tight-knit, supportive environment.Mollie Yingling, LMSW, Social and Emotional Wellness Director, started at the Boys & Girls Club in the summer of 2015 as a summer camp counselor and continued on to become a McDaniel mentor. She graduated from McDaniel with her Bachelors in Social Work and a minor in Psychology, and received her Masters in Social Work from Salisbury University. After 7 years with BGCW, Mollie worked in the mental health field at a community mental health facility. Mollie rejoined the BGCW team in 2022 where she creates safe spaces for the Club members to feel heard and validated. Mollie works closely with members and their families to address mental health needs and provide community resources. In her spare time, she enjoys watching The Office, spending time with her family and friends, and cuddling with her sweet cats, Margo and May.Raquel Warner, Student Services Coordinator, has a background in elementary education and literacy. Her passion for fostering lifelong learning in our youth began during her time volunteering at an orphanage in her hometown of Intibucá, Honduras, and grew exponentially after helping illiterate community members how to read and write. She started working for the Boys & Girls Club as a mentor while enrolled in McDaniel College’s education program and fell in love with the positive impact that the club has on its members. Her interests include reading, baking, and trying new adventures – her most recent being kickboxing!

We accomplish this mission by providing a safe place to learn and grow, develop ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, participate in life-enhancing programs, build character development experiences, hope, and opportunity. In all of our programs we utilize a time-tested youth development strategy.
